Clarissa Jane Childress, 52, of Indianapolis, passed away at 8:04 A.M. on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 25, 1971 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Bobby Lee & Linda Jane (Coffey) Carroll. She enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her family. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Jessica Childress of Indianapolis and Mary Childress of Noblesville; a sister, Patricia Carroll of Indianapolis; a brother, Michael Lynn Coffey of Indianapolis; a half-sister, Roseann Carroll of Monticello, Kentucky; a half-brother, Herbert Carroll; and a granddaughter, Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mark Childress. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home. 
Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.bassgasper.com
