Batesville Schools (St. Louis) – Will have E-Learning days March 16-19. Spring Break March 20-29. Classes resume on May 1.

Ivy Tech Community College (Southeastern Campus-Batesville and Lawrenceburg) – All buildings closed until further notice. The College will continue to operate and deliver instruction wherever possible virtually as previously announced. Decatur County 

Decatur County Schools (North & South) – Meals for students will be passed out on MONDAYS ONLY. Families will be given meals for the entire week. Bring a small cooler for milk. Children should be present. Anyone is able to pick up meals for families in need. email cdevries@decaturco.k12.in.us fowr info. All April field trips canceled. All April after school activities canceled. Closed to the public. All extra-curricular events and practices are canceled until further notice. Student devices can be picked up Monday, March 23rd. Good Shepherd Christian Academy – E-Learning will begin March 27th. Classes resume on May 1.

Greensburg Schools (St. Mary’s) – All school buildings and facilities will be closed to the public. All extra-curricular practices and activities are postponed or canceled until further notice. Classes resume on May 1.

Franklin County

Franklin County Schools (St. Michael’s) – March 23-27 Spring Break. Kindergarten registration will not take place on April 2-3, 2020. New dates will be announced soon. Classes resume on May 1.

Oldenburg Academy – Spring Break: March 19-27. eLearning and Waiver Days will be utilized. All on-campus events will be canceled for the month of April. Classes will resume on Monday, May 4, 2020. 

Dearborn County

Ivy Tech Community College (Lawrenceburg Campus) – Delaying current courses and the start of new 8-week courses until March 23 at which time the College will move to delivering all courses virtually. The College plans to deliver courses virtually through April 5, initially.

Lawrenceburg Schools (St. Lawrence) – Classes resume on May 1. .

South Dearborn Schools (St. John’s and St. Mary’s) – All schools will remain closed.  Will be using a combination of eLearning days and waiver days for the rest of the school year.  Will have more details when available.

Decatur County

The Decatur County Board of Commissioners, the executive body of county government, issued an Emergency Ordinance – Declaring a two-week period during which all non-essential businesses should close.

Greensburg Decatur County Chamber of Commerce – Postponed the Future in Farming Ag Breakfast and the Starting or Expanding Your Business event

Decatur County Courthouse – CLOSED to public in-person interaction until April 6th. The clerk’s office will have someone available to take your call during normal business hours. Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM until we are advised otherwise

City of Greensburg – City Hall will have no outside, face-to-face public interactions in the Water Utilities Office, the Clerk-Treasurer Office and the Main Entrance (Front Desk) of City Hall. Signs will be posted, and doors will be locked during normal business hours. Please call or email.

Decatur County Community Foundation office-Closed until further notice. Postponed the ag event. 

Decatur County Family YMCA– Suspended adult and youth program through April 5th

Decatur County Rural Water office—Closed to the public.  Please call or pay your bill online. 

Decatur County Purdue Extension office–Closed to the public. Please call 812-663-8388 for any needs.

Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home, Bass and Gasper Funeral Home, and Port Oliger Pearson Funeral Home – Based on CDC directives: no public visitation, families will be responsible for inviting funeral attendees under 50 people and the funeral homes will be available by appointment to meet the needs of families and loved ones.

Wolf Theatre – Will close temporarily for 6-12 weeks.  Will offer drive-by popcorn sales on certain nights.  Check Facebook for those updated details.  

Maddux Moving Storage & Auction –  No auction March 26. Tentatively next auction will be April 2. Office will remain open from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Moving services will continue as well. 

Decatur County REMC-Office is closed to the public until further notice. Bills can be paid by smarthub, phone, mail, or the night deposit box.  Also penalties and disconnections have been suspended through the end of March.

Franklin County

Oldenburg Earth Day  Celebration – originally scheduled for April 19th is canceled. 

Town of Oldenburg – Council Meeting for April 6 canceled. 

Franklin County Government Center and Courthouse – buildings to the public effective the close of business on March 23.  The individual offices are responsible for maintaining the business of their office for the county.  A drop box has been placed outside of the Government Center to leave paperwork or mail for government offices.  Citizens are encouraged to conduct business via telephone or electronic means.

Greensburg Decatur County Animal Shelter – Closed to the public until further notice.

Ripley County

Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce – Both the Lunch and Learn Scheduled for March 31st and the 100-Year Celebration Scheduled in April are being postponed until later in the Fall.

City of Batesville – At the Memorial Building, public access will be limited to just the vestibule where citizens can contact the police department. Access to the offices of Building Department, Clerk-Treasurer, City Court and Mayor’s Office will be closed to in-person visits until further notice. Feel free to contact any City department by phone which is listed below. The City of Batesville will accept utility payments made online or by drop box which is located at the Water & Gas Department. For additional inquiries and for cash option please contact Water & Gas at the phone number listed below. No utility services will be disconnected for non-payments during the timeframe of these policy changes.

Twice Blessed Resale Shop – Closed until further notice

Ripley County Health Department–Closed to the public until further notice.  Staff will continue to work regular business hours and can be reached by phone or email at 812.689.5751. Visit them online at ripleyhealth.com or on Facebook.  

The Ripley County Health Department – Announced the closing of all salons in the county until further notice.  

Southeastern Indiana YMCA- Closed thru April 6. This includes the closure of 24 hour access at this time. All aspects of our operation will be reassessed regularly and will change as we are able. The YMCA Learning Center will remain open at this time through the guidance of the Indiana State Board of Health and Family and Social Services Association.

Anytime Fitness- Closed until further notice

Ripley County Courthouse and Government Offices – Closed to the public. County elected officials and employees still working. Courts hearing essential cases only. Utilize email and phone communication to get ahold of all county offices. Utilize the drop boxes outside of the courthouse and annex buildings to leave any documentation needed for the offices.

City of Madison- Restricting public access to all city buildings. Each department will remain open and will be able to address questions or concerns. City Hall will be closed for public access, but available for essential business with appointments made in advance. Payments to the City of Madison for utilities or transactions made through the Clerk-Treasurers office should be made using the drive-through payment center at City Hall.
