Three Fever players named All-Star starters

Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell will represent Indiana in the starting lineup for the league’s showcase event.

(Indianapolis, IN) The Indiana Fever will have a major presence when the WNBA’s biggest stars take the floor later this month.

Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have been named starters for the 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, giving Indiana three of the league’s 10 starting spots.

The Fever led all WNBA teams with three All-Star starters.

Clark and Mitchell were selected as starting guards. Boston was chosen as a frontcourt starter.

The full starting guard group includes Clark, Mitchell, Paige Bueckers of the Dallas Wings and Olivia Miles of the Minnesota Lynx. The frontcourt starters are Boston, A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, Jessica Shepard of the Dallas Wings, Gabby Williams of the Golden State Valkyries and Natasha Howard of the Minnesota Lynx.

How starters were picked

Starters were chosen through a weighted voting system. Fan voting counted for 50 percent, while current WNBA players and a media panel each accounted for 25 percent. The four guards and six frontcourt players with the best scores were named starters.

The rest of the All-Star roster will be filled out by the league’s head coaches. Coaches will select 12 reserves, including three guards, five frontcourt players and four players at either position. Coaches may not vote for players from their own teams.

The 2026 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will be played Saturday, July 25, at the United Center in Chicago. Tipoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. Eastern on ABC.

The game is part of the WNBA’s 30th season celebration. The league has said two WNBA legends will serve as honorary general managers and draft the All-Star rosters from the pool of 22 selected players.

Fever spotlight

For Indiana, the announcement continues a major run of national attention for the franchise. Boston, Clark and Mitchell have been central to the Fever’s rise and now will open the league’s showcase event on the floor together.
