Afterward, South Ripley coach Seve Beach said his team’s approach was where it needed to be from the opening tip.
“We talked about it coming in being ready mentally ready to go… don’t get off to a sluggish start,” Beach said.
Beach also credited his group for moving the ball and creating quality looks.
“It’s a lot of fun to watch that when they got that ball moving around and they’re passing up good shots for great ones,” he said.

South Ripley will be back in action Tuesday at home against Madison, while Oldenburg Academy heads to Jac-Cen-Del on Tuesday night.
