(Greensburg, IN) – A Greensburg man is recovering after he was injured in a motorcycle crash in Decatur County over the weekend.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department said emergency crews were called Saturday, Aug. 8, to the 3400 block of North County Road 700 West for a reported single-motorcycle crash.
When first responders arrived, they found the motorcycle’s driver, Keith Brown of Greensburg, trapped underneath the bike but conscious.
Emergency personnel were able to free Brown from underneath the motorcycle. He was then flown by Lifeline air ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital.
The sheriff’s department said Monday that Brown is recovering from his injuries.
The department thanked Decatur County Communications, Decatur County EMS, St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department, Greensburg Fire Department, Lifeline and Platinum Wrecker for assisting at the scene.
