Pamela Lucile Dean, 63, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Saturday February 6, 2021 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born January 5, 1958 in Compton, CA, daughter of Joseph M Rosen and the late Bobbie (Pigg) Rosen.
She obtainer her pilots license after high school and was in aviation until her death. She worked 18 years for the FAA and as an Airline Pilot for Fed Ex,with over 19 years of service.
As a Scout leader, she earned her Wood Badge and was instrumental in the success of Cub Scout Pack 452 chartered by Arlington UMC, in Arlington, TN. She was a member of the Airline Pilots Association and she attended the Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church. She enjoyed flying, gardening and working on the farm. Pamela was very hospitable and she loved entertaining her friends and family. She was a champion for life in all its forms. Pamela was a caring soul, one that will take her into the next life with all the gifts she received from this one. Many said that she never knew a stranger, and even the most wayward souls found their way to her. In this world, we keep none of the possessions we collect, but still she leaves this world a wealthy woman. Wealthy in love. Wealthy in compassion. Wealthy in family.
Pamela is survived by her father, Joseph M. Rosen; her loving spouse of 7 years, Harry E. Dean; children, Kameron Ellis of Moores Hill, IN, Collin Farmer of Chicago, IL; step children, Rebecca (Deepak) Dean of Oakland, CA, Jennifer (Dustin) Clark of Charlotte, NC, Harry Dean of Denver, CO; brother, Jeffery Lyle Rosen of Huntington Beach, CA.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbie Jane Rosen.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Sinai United Methodist Church, 9813 Mt. Sinai Road, Aurora, Indiana.
