(Indianapolis, IN) – Applications for the Indiana Department of Transportation’s engineering scholarship are now open for Hoosier students.
Each year, the agency offers a limited number of scholarships to engineering students who can play a critical role in Indiana’s infrastructure.
Scholarship recipients receive $3,125 per semester and work in paid internships during the summer.
After graduation, recipients receive priority hiring within the agency.
Scholarships can be applied toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, or a combination of both.
To apply, students must:
• Be currently enrolled or accepted into a school of engineering at an Indiana ABET-accredited college or university;
• Have completed at least one year of college or will complete one year of college by May 2025;
• Attend school full time; and
• Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
The deadline to apply is December 31.
