Edward R. Allen, 80, of Lawrenceville, IN passed Sunday. He leaves his son, John E. (Rachel) Allen of Metamora and his stepson Ken G. (Rhonda K.) Trabel of West Harrison, stepson Bill Trabel(Nancy) Hamilton,OH, stepdaughters Mary Trabel, Lawrenceville,IN and Marsha Kreuzman ,Versailles. He also leaves numerous grandchildren. He leaves his brother John (the late Mary Bell) Allen of Williamstown, KY.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Celeste R., his daughter Cathy Hartmann, his siblings Sally Fields, Robert Allen and Freeman Allen.
Visitation is Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 4:00-7:00 at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home, Dover, IN followed with visitation on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Betts & West Funeral Home in Nicholasville, KY. from 11:00-1:00. Funeral service will be at 1:00 followed with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
