(Greensburg, IN) – The intersection of Broadway and Washington in Greensburg will be closed starting today and going through mid-May.
It’s part of the third phase of the Washington Street corridor improvement project downtown.
Once the work is complete, the area will feature new sidewalks, crosswalks, green spaces and slanted parking spaces on Washington from Franklin to Ireland streets.
All of the businesses along and bordering Washington Street will remain open during construction.
The four-phase project is scheduled to be finished by September 1, in time for the Tree City Fall Festival.
