Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,452 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 643,305 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,021,613 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 52 new deaths were reported for a total of 11,578 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,234 cases and 60 deaths reported (up 12 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,654 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 8 new cases), Franklin County has 1,567 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 2 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,174 positive cases and 58 deaths (up 4 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 26 new positive cases and 1 new death.
