Brookville, IN — A screening of the new documentary “The Working Hungry” will take place tonight (Thursday) at Third Place in Brookville at 5:30 pm.
The 30-minute film revolves around the stories of three families who are among the 700,000 people across Indiana who are employed but considered food insecure.
Following the screening, there will be a discussion about hunger in our area and throughout the state.
Local organizations teaming up to present the film include the Food and Growers Association, Red Life Pantry, and Franklin County Purdue Extension and Nutrition Education Program.
