Thursday’s schedule at the Franklin County 4-H Fair features livestock competitions, family activities, food and an evening of truck and tractor pulling.
The Dairy Goat Show begins at 8 a.m., followed by the Dairy Cattle Show at 1 p.m.
The Franklin County Cattlemen’s Association Burger Night will be served from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
The Franklin County Farmers Mutual Exhibit Hall will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., while the Funtime Carnival will operate from 5 to 10 p.m. Commercial vendors will be open from 6 to 10 p.m.
Families can meet this year’s fair royalty during the Tea Party with the Queen Court from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Thursday’s featured events include the Showman of Showmen Contest and the Kiddie Pedal Pull, both beginning at 7 p.m. Also taking center stage is the Truck and Tractor Pull, which starts at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $5, with pit admission available for $15.
