(Washington, D.C.) – Congresswoman Erin Houchin recently announced the opening of the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for middle school and high school students in Indiana’s Ninth Congressional District.
Officially launched by the U.S. House of Representatives in 2015, this nationwide effort allows students to compete against their peers by creating an application for desktop/PC, web, tablet, mobile, or other devices.
“The Congressional App Challenge is a fantastic opportunity for students to put their creativity and coding talents on display,” said Congresswoman Houchin. “I’m always inspired by the innovation and skill our students bring to the table, and I look forward to seeing the submissions this year.”
Competition information:
- Eligibility: Open to all middle school and high school students in the Ninth Congressional District of Indiana
- Submission Deadline: October 30, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. ET
