The Batesville Middle School golf team teed off its season with a 181-208 loss to host Connersville at Arbor Crossing Golf Course.
Rowan Maple led the Bulldogs with a 49 followed closely by Jarod Zins with a 52.
Brody Strouse and Rory Hunt rounded out the BMS team score by shooting a 53 and 54, respectively.
Other golfers for the Bulldogs were Luke Raver and Olliver Strole, both of whom carded a 57.
