Brookville, In. — It was standing room only in the Franklin County Government Center as officials and residents debated the future of the Brook Hill Golf Club.
The Town of Brookville has agreed to explore the possibility of annexing and purchasing the golf course to keep it open. A committee made up of two members of county council, two members of Brookville Town C and one county commissioner was formed to evaluate opportunities.
Most in attendance were in favor of the city taking control of the golf course, but there were opposing viewpoints.
