The Decatur County Fair continues Friday with a full day of livestock competitions, exhibits and family entertainment.
The day’s livestock schedule begins with the Horse and Pony Show at 9 a.m. in the Horse Arena. The Poultry Show follows at 10 a.m. in the Poultry Barn, and the Dairy Show begins at 11 a.m. in the Livestock Pavilion.
Fairgoers can browse 4-H projects and exhibits in the Farm and Home Building from 1 to 9 p.m. The building will also host a performance by The Feldman’s Music Studio at 7 p.m. The Community Building will be open from 4 to 10 p.m.
Livestock events continue into the evening with the Swine Showmanship and County Born and Bred Show beginning at 5 p.m.
The midway opens at 6 p.m., offering carnival rides and games throughout the evening.
Friday’s featured grandstand event is the All Star Circuit of Champions T.Q. Midgets. Gates open at 5 p.m., with racing scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10, pit admission is $30, and children ages 5 and younger are admitted free.
