The St. Louis 6th grade boys basketball team played on Saturday in their Annual St. Louis tournament and came away as the tourney champs by beating Milan in the championship game.
The Cardinals played great defense in the first half holding Milan to only 6 points and went in at half by the score of 18-6. Milan fought back in the second half but came up short as St. Louis won by the score of 30-22.
Earlier in the day, the Cardinals won their first game against St. Lawrence by the score of 27-10 putting them in the championship game. Milan won their first game by defeating St. Michael’s in a close game.
The Cardinals played great defense in both games along with a balanced scoring attack.
