(Greensburg, IN) – The Decatur County Health Department and the Greensburg/Decatur County Public Library are open as cooling centers this week during regular business hours for anyone who needs relief from the heat.
The health department is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Library hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; 9 to 6 on Wednesday; 9 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 9 to 1.
The library is closed on Sunday.
Officials say those who don’t have air conditioning or need a place to cool down are invited to stop in at either place.
Please note both cooling centers are available during normal business hours only.
