BATESVILLE, IN — A 17-year-old male is facing several charges following a chase on I-74 Friday night.
Indiana State Police say Trooper Blake Litmer tried to stop a BMW on eastbound 74 near the 143-mile marker in Decatur County around 9 pm when the driver sped off before coming to a stop in Batesville.
The juvenile was arrested before he was released into the custody of his parents.
He’s been charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
