Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for regular-season games played in December and January. In Cincinnati’s six games played since December 1, Burrow completed 186 of 244 passes for 1,890 yards and 16 touchdowns with five interceptions, while leading the team to a 5-1 record.
NFL Media is reporting the Colts are expected to interview Lou Anarumo and Steve Wilks for the vacant defensive coordinator position. Anarumo was fired by the Bengals this week after six seasons with the team in the same role. Wilks was the San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator when they went to Super Bowl 58, and is a former head coach with the Arizona Cardinals. The Colts are looking for a new defensive coordinator after parting ways with Gus Bradley.
The Reds avoided arbitration with eight players yesterday. The team signed pitchers Alexis Díaz, Nick Lodolo, Sam Moll, and Brady Singer, outfielder Jake Fraley, infielder Gavin Lux, and catchers Tyler Stephenson and Jose Trevino to one-year-contracts.
