Search warrant in Brookville drug investigation leads to felony charges

BROOKVILLE, IN — A Brookville woman is facing several felony counts after her arrest on drug charges.

Franklin County Prosecutor Chris Huerkamp’s office says a Brookville Police Department investigation led to the arrest of 59-year-old Kimberly Reiff.

She is charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine(Level 2 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 4 felony), and Possession of Cocaine (Level 6 felony).

According to Brookville Police Lt. Ryan Geiser’s probable cause affidavit, the investigating officers successfully applied for a search warrant using information that they had previously obtained.

Several members of the Brookville Police Department, including Chief Terry Mitchum, executed the search warrant at Reiff’s residence.

Authorities say some of the items that were found during a search of her residence included over 30 grams of Methamphetamine, cash, and a small amount of cocaine.

Geiser said the large amount of Methamphetamine was indicative of drug dealing as opposed to mere possession.

Reiff was arrested at the scene and remains at the Franklin County Security Center pending trial, where her bond has been set at $30,000 in cash or $60,000 in property.

A pre-trial conference is scheduled for May 5.
