Procter & Gamble looks to trademark popular acronyms

Cincinnati, Oh. — A new report from CNBC says Cincinnati-based Procter and Gamble wants to trademark popular three-letter acronyms like LOL, WTF and NBD. P & G has applied to use the millennial-friendly terms for liquid soap, dishwashing detergent, hard surface cleaners and air fresheners.
