Lynda T. Voegele, age 48 of Batesville, died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Born July 27, 1970 in La Porte, Indiana, she is the daughter of Sofia (Nee: Torres) and Jacinto Ochoa. She married Pat Voegele December 17, 1994 in Muncie, Indiana.
Lynda was an avid reader. Other interests she enjoyed included working in her garden, playing Google’s “Words with Friends” and attending her children’s sporting events. She also loved Posey, her dog.
She is survived by her husband Pat; daughter Sophia Voegele of Bloomington, Indiana; son Sam Voegele of Batesville, mother Sofia Torres of La Porte, Indiana and sisters Delfia King of Plainfield, Illinois and Niome Zeman of La Porte, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation is Monday, October 22nd, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Weigel Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 23rd at St. Louis Church with Rev. Stan Pondo officiating and burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.
