(Greensburg/Rushville, IN) – A Greensburg man wanted for domestic battery is behind bars following a two-city manhunt Thursday afternoon.

Greensburg Police officers responded to the 300 block of West 11th Street just after 3 pm where they found a bloodied female who suffered multiple injuries.

Officers were told the woman was allegedly beaten by 29-year-old Bradley Eugene Hill Jr., who left the home following the attack but it was believed he was still in the area.

The woman received treatment for her injuries at the scene from Decatur County EMS and Greensburg firefighters.

A perimeter was set up around the area by GPD officers, Decatur County Sheriff’s deputies, and Indiana State Police troopers, and they searched for Hill on foot, and with the use of a drone and a Greensburg Police K9.

The dragnet was expanded as time went on.

A warning and request for assistance were put out to the public, with multiple tips received by the Decatur County Communications Center.

One of those tips led to officers heading to Rushville, where the search was also conducted on foot and with the use of a drone and police K9s.

Hill was ultimately located by one of Rushville Police Department’s K9 units.

Hill was arrested and taken to the Decatur County Detention Center, where he was booked on Aggravated Battery and Domestic Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury charges.

Investigators say additional charges may be added following the Prosecutor’s review of the case.
