The Batesville High School Freshman Basketball team improved to 5-0 on their season with a 38-23 win at East Central.

The Bulldogs started out hot in the first half and led 17-4 going into halftime.

The Batesville 7th Grade boys dropped another close game Thursday night. The Bulldogs were defeated by Sunman-Dearborn 35-29.

Batesville went into halftime down 6 points and ended the 3rd quarter only down by 4.

Lane Sparks led a balanced attack with 17 points as the host Raiders cruised to a 53-20 victory.

The St. Louis 8th grade boys basketball team lost to St. Bartholomew’s Wednesday night by a final score of 33 to 11.

The AquaTrojans remain undefeated as they beat the Knights from South Dearborn on Tuesday evening. The girls (6-0, 3-0 EIAC) won 104-75 and the boys (4-0, 3-0 EIAC) won 119-49.

The St. Louis 5th grade boys basketball team played St. Paul’s of New Alsace this evening and won their 9th game of the season. The Cardinals outscored St.

The Batesville Middle School 7th grade boys lost to their crosstown rival St. Louis on Monday night 27-17.

The Bulldogs came out and played with great intensity for the entire game.

The Batesville High School Wrestling team traveled to Milan to wrestle in the annual Milan 6-way. Competing in this event were: Milan, Lawrenceburg, Rushville, South Dearborn, Union County, and Batesville.
