Ralph Edward Davis, 68, of Dillsboro passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. Ralph was born on Wednesday, September 18, 1957, in Lawrenceburg; son of Ralph Davis and Ruby (Eckler) Hustler. He worked for Aurora Casket Company for 20+ years. Ralph loved putting on yard sales multiple times throughout the year. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling out west. He was known to love socializing with people and was always the life of the party. Most of all Ralph cherished his family.
Ralph will be missed by his daughters Ronda (Steven) Keith of Madison and Diana Davis of Dillsboro; brother David Davis of Aurora; sisters Diane Cowan of Dillsboro and Karen Kramer of Aurora; grandchildren Camilla Rice of Lawrenceburg, Cody Workman of Dillsboro, David (Savanna) Vancleave of Dillsboro, Dawn (Chris) Vancleave of Cleves, Robert Johnson of Dillsboro, Cherish Johnson of Dillsboro, Samuel Johnson of Dillsboro, Harmony Johnson of Moores Hill, Noah Johnson of Moores Hill, Glory Davis of Dillsboro, Ruby Davis of Dillsboro, Ashley Lewis of Dillsboro, Alyssa Brown of Lafayette, Brieanna Ball of Scottsburg, Hailey Ball of Lexington, and Haiden Ball of Tennessee; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Davis and Ruby Hustler; grandson Jason Robert Lee Brown; and great-granddaughter Alayia May Belle Riley.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Ralph from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the Filter-DeVries-Moore Funeral Home in Dillsboro. Services will follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Ralph to the family.
