The Batesville High School Wrestling hosted Switzerland County to open the new year. After being on the positive side of the forfeit game the Bulldogs were able to will there 3rd dual of the year. With the Bulldogs receiving 6 forfeits to giving up only 2 Batesville were in advantage, to begin with, but were still able to win 3 out of the 5 matches wrestled.
Receiving forfeits were Seniors Caleb Bischoff-Niece, Jonah Chase, JT Linkel, Nick Nobbe, and Sophomores Josh Mobley and Christian Garcia. Getting wins by pin were senior Axel Garcia, sophomores Jy’lil Chappel, and Alex Murphy. This all help lead the Bulldogs to a 54-24 victory. The Bulldogs will next host Franklin County Saturday at 10 am.
