The 8th grade BMS volleyball team ended the regular season with an impressive 2-set win over Connersville. Scores were 25-13 and 25-21.Maci Smith set the tone for the match with perfect serving on all 13 of her attempts scoring 10 points including 5 aces. Lydia Niese hit all 10 of her serves scoring 7 points. Sarah Hunter chipped in 5 points, while Hailey Hundley scored 4 points including an ace.
Maci Smith earned a team-high 3 kills at the net, while Carly Blanton, Breauna Broshears, Kenzi Lacey, and Lydia Niese added 2 kills each to help secure the win.
Hailey Hundley and Gabby Brown had some exciting serve receptions and digs in the back row to help keep the momentum on our side. The win evens the team’s season record to 7-7.
