The Batesville boy’s 8th-grade team hosted the Harrison Wildcats on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs were down 10 to 11 at the end of the first quarter but were able to shake off the slow start to take a 25 to 16 lead at the half. The Dogs managed to stretch that lead to 40 to 24 at the end of the third quarter before finishing the game with a final score of 46 to 31. Leading the Bulldogs in scoring for the game were Cole Abrams with 10 points, Kamryn Holcomb with 7, James Hughes with 7, Braydin Hughes with 7, Caleb Laker with 5, Carson Hartley with 5, Isaac Weber with 2, Preston Blessing with 2, and Ian Hixon with 1. The victory now gives the Bulldogs a record of 14 wins and 3 losses on the season as they head into the Christmas break.
