A’Lucia “Chick” Louise Harper, 92, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Harrison, Ohio.
She was born February 20, 1930, in Spartanburg, SC, daughter of the late Arthur Rolden Jarman and Bertha Pauline (Rymer) Jarman.
A’Lucia owned Crossroads Antiques and TLC Doll Hospital in Dover, Indiana. She enjoyed quilting and wrote poetry. A’Lucia liked to collect Dolls and make greeting cards. She formerly attended Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church.
A’Lucia “Chick” is survived by her loving spouse of 47 years, Malcolm David Harper; Children, Connie (Harry) Huddleston, Don (Dolores) Alexander, Jim Alexander, Harvey (Bodie) Owens, Kim (Tracy) Callan, Joe (Michele) Alexander; Grandchildren, Samuel (Kathy) Huddleston, Benjamin (Hannah) Huddleston, Dawn Alexander, Amy (Jacob) Phillips, Kevin (Stephanie) Alexander, Janey Lynn Hicks, Zach Owens, Jessica (Zach) Zwarg, Megan Moore, Andrea Callan, Brandy Clements, Dustin (Chelsea) Alexander, Kelli Alexander; Great-Grandchildren, Caleb Huddleston, Leah Huddleston, Molly Huddleston, Graham Huddleston, Xavier Huddleston, Margaret Huddleston, Quinne Huddleston, Libby Alexander, Kenadie Alexander, Cole Alexander, Jackson Alexander, Connor Alexander, Nora Phillips, Nathanial Woodruff, Miranda Woodruff, Melissa Woodruff, Reagan Zwarg, Tracy Moore, Bryce Moore, Joshua Clements, Caleb Clements, Liam Mosley.
She was preceded in death by Father, Arthur Rolden Jarman; Mother, Bertha Pauline Jarman; Sister, Thelma Jean Moeller;
Friends will be received at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home Friday October 21, 2022 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.
Services will be held at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Pastor Dave Hall officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rising Sun New Cemetery, Rising Sun, Indiana.
