St. Louis Boys Basketball Scores

Basketball HoopsThe St. Louis 5th grade Red Team defeated St. Nicholas 23-22 and improved their record to 3-3 on the season.

This was a close game throughout as the teams were tied 13-13 at halftime.  The Cards had a slim lead at the end of the third quarter 20-17 and held on to win by one point.

Sam Voegele and Jon Grieshop led the offensive attack scoring seven and six points each.  Jack Forbeck chipped in four points.  Defensively, the Cards were led by Michael Wanstrath, Brendon Imel, and Carson Macke.

The St. Louis boys 6th grade basketball team lost to St. Nicholas Tuesday night by the score of 33-12.

Eli Tuveson led the way for the Cardinals with a pair of 3 pointers and 3 rebounds. Keegan Webering, Joey Gutzwiller, and Luke Esser added 2 points apiece.

The Cardinals next action will be a rematch with St. Nicholas next Thursday, December 5th at St. Nicholas. The 5th grade game starts at 6:00 with the 6th grade game to follow.
