Versailles, IN — Ripley County Clerk Ginger J. Bradford would like to inform the voters of Ripley County that in-person absentee (or early) voting begins on Tuesday, October 6th in the Election Room of the Courthouse Annex in Versailles. Office hours for early voting are Monday through Friday 8 am until 4 pm. There will be two Saturdays for voting, October 24th and October 31st from 8 am until 3 pm as well as Monday, November 2nd from 8 am until noon.
As in the past, on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd, the polling locations will be open from 6 am until 6 pm.
For those who are unable to vote in-person, there is absentee voting by mail. To request an application to vote by mail or if you need to register to vote, call the Ripley County Election Office at 812-689-4783. The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming general election is Monday, October 5th.
