Laurel man arrested on meth warrant Friday

LAUREL, Ind. – A Laurel man is behind bars Friday in connection to an ongoing investigation into the manufacture of Methamphetamine.

Police conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 25000 block of Vanetta Road in Laurel on November 5. Detectives say they found and dismantled a meth lab, but couldn’t locate the person that lived there.

An arrest warrant was issued for 42-year-old Daniel Crawford on suspicion of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors and maintaining a common nuisance.

Crawford was arrested at his home around 3:00 a.m. this morning and lodged at the Franklin County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
