Dawg Haus becomes The tAAp

GREENSBURG, Ind. — Downtown Greensburg has a new bar/eaterie, as The tAAp is now open on the north side of Tower Tree Square.  Owners Trisha Pettit and Mitchell Barnes-Pettit bought the establishment (formerly known as Dawg Haus Diner) in mid-February.

Patrons will recognized the new owners, as Trisha managed the venue under previous ownership for the past three years.  Pettit held ceremonial oversized scissors at their official ribbon cutting Friday — surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Greensburg Decatur County Chamber members.

The capital A’s in The tAAp stand for the names of Trisha’s two children, Addison and Aubrey. That new name is also reflective of the fact that they now offer thirteen beers on tap.  Customers will notice the menu has been revamped.  The new proprietors have also extended hours, and promise additional interior renovations in the near future.
