A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for a missing child and her mother.

Detectives believe the 8-year-old child, Sophia Snow, is with her mother, Jennifer Ansari.

Police learned that Ansari, 37, took Snow from their Fishers home after she found out that she was losing custody to her ex-husband.

The Fishers Police Department are concerned for the child’s safety.

Ansari was last seen driving a 2012 burgundy Honda Civic passenger car with Kentucky license plate number 779NZJ.

Police said she may be on her way or already in Louisville, Kentucky.

Anyone with information should contact their local police department.
