FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — 1 Person was injured in a car versus pedestrian accident in Franklin County.
On November 11 around 7:30 PM, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department responded to a 911 call regarding a man in the middle of State Road 1, just south of St. Peters road.
The caller, Shan Willis, 35, of Laurel stated he attempted to swerve out of the way of the man, later identified as Jeffrey Frye, 24, of Sparta, TN, but was unsuccessful, striking the pedestrian with the mirror of his vehicle.
Frye was transported by ambulance to Margaret Mary Health.
