Greensburg, IN—Starting this Monday, May 4, the Greensburg Police Department will be registering UTV’s for the City of Greensburg. Registrations will be done by appointment only.
If you live in the City of Greensburg, residents can either bring the UTV to the Greensburg Police Department or an inspection can be done at your residence by appointment. If you live in Decatur County the inspection will need to be done at the Greensburg Police Department by appointment.
The following will be required to pass inspection:
1. VIN Number Present
2. Make and Model of UTV
3. Proof of Insurance
4. Proof of Registration through the BMV
5. Payment Fee of $35.00
The ordinance will be provided during the registration. If plates are not available at the time of registration, a paper plate will be given for your record until the plates arrive.
