Supreme Court will not stop IU vaccine requirement

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Supreme Court will not block Indiana University’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement.

The High Court heard a challenge to the policy requiring students and staff to be vaccinated before the start of fall classes.

Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who has ties to the Hoosier state as a former law professor at the University of Notre Dame, denied the challenge brought on by eight IU students.

The challenge was also denied previously in both district and federal court.
