Ross Weber, 75 of Lebanon, Indiana passed away on April 30, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born on November 5, 1947, in Greensburg, Indiana the son of Arthur and Agnes Schilling Weber. Ross was a 1965 graduate of New Point High School. He married Margaret (Peggy) Fehrman. He was a farmer and worked for Batesville Casket as a delivery driver, retiring in 2014. Ross was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion.
Ross was a loving father, brother, grandpa and uncle. He loved his family and friends, especially his sister Sarajane. Ross didn’t know a stranger. A stranger to him was just a friend he hadn’t gotten to know yet. Ross had the gift of telling the best stories and putting a smile on the face and laughter in the heart of all those who were blessed with his presence. Ross was proud of his children and grandchildren. He was excited to visit all fifty states, which ended with a trip to Alaska with his family in 2019. Ross especially enjoyed fishing and enjoyed his trips to Canada and his Uncle Jack’s cabin in Minnesota.
Survivors include: Son, Bradley (Julie) Weber of Lebanon, IN; Daughter, Lisa (Terry) Bell of Bowling Green, KY; Grandchildren: Caleb Weber, Mariah Weber, Elizabeth (Kyle) Webb, Cody (Courtney) Sullivan, Ashley (Melissa) Cutter and Brendan (Michelle) Cutter; 11 great grandchildren; Sister, Sarajane (Daniel) Wilson of Greensburg; Brother in Laws, Bob (Mareta) Fehrman, Greensburg, IN and Dan (Pat) Fehrman, Batesville, IN; Sister in Laws, Charlotte Heppner, Oldenburg, IN and Becky (Rod) Gaskill, Rockwall, TX. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife; Sister, Carol Weber Smith; Brother in Laws, John Smith and Dan Wilson; and nephew Bill Wilson.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 pm. Edward Lynch will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Smyrna Lutheran Cemetery Association.
