Mildred Jean Williams, 94, of Greensburg, IN passed away on April 29, 2023, at her home. Mildred was born on April 8, 1929 in Bowling Green, KY to Earl and Georgia Richey.
Mildred was married to Ira Williams in September of 1948, and he preceded her in death.
She had a passion for simple things in life, including sewing, baking, and gardening. Her love for these things was evident in the beautiful items she created over the years. Aside from her hobbies, Mildred will also be remembered for her kind and caring nature.
Mildred was a loving spouse, mother, sister, grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her sons: Jeff (Penny) Williams and Tim (Anna) Williams and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by sons: David Williams and Andrew Williams and daughter: Barbara J. Ashley.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on May 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Frensemeier officiating.
