Greensburg, IN — Four lawmakers who represent all or portions of Decatur County at the Statehouse gathered at the Greensburg City Hall Multipurpose Room Saturday morning for the 2023 Legislative Update.

State Senator Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg), representatives Randy Frye (R-Greensburg), Lindsay Patterson (R-Brookville), and Jenny Meltzer (R-Shelbyville) each delivered opening statements about bills they are authoring, supporting, or opposing during the current legislative session before the floor was opened to questions from those in attendance.

Conversations about the state budget, mental health, addiction, the EMT/paramedic shortage in Indiana, and other topics took place between the four legislators and constituents who came forward to ask questions or make comments.

The legislative update was presented by the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.
