Remnants of ‘Gordon’ set to surge into the tri-state

Wilmington, Oh. — The National Weather Service says the remnants of Tropical Depression Gordon will transform into a slow-moving front over the Ohio Valley that will bring bands of rain with embedded thunderstorms Saturday through early Monday. However, widespread clouds will keep temperatures below normal.

As the storm tracks northeast the heaviest rainfall is expected Saturday night and Sunday. Some areas could receive up to four inches of rain. A flash flood watch is in effect from noon Saturday to 8 a.m. Monday, September 10.
