In the first game, which was a completion of a game that was suspended by rain on Monday, the Reds lost 4-2 in 10 innings.

The game was suspended with the game tied 2-2 in the top of the eighth after a nearly two hour rain delay on Monday night.
When the game was resumed on Tuesday night, the Giants had runners on second and third with one out. Reds reliever Lucas Sims was able to get out of the jam without giving up a run.

The game would remain tied at 2 until the 10th inning when Joc Pederson’s double scored courtesy runner Brett Wisely from second to give San Francisco a one run advantage. Pederson would just a few at-bats later on a Michael Conforto fielder’s choice to second, making it a 4-2 game.

Cincinnati would not be able to answer as Giants closer Camilo Doval would retire the side in order to hand the Reds their 5th straight loss.

Jonathan India was a triple away from the cycle, batting 3-4 with a single, a double, a home run, and an RBI.
