(Versailles, IN) – Several people escaped after a house caught fire in Versailles early Thursday morning.
It happened around 1:20 a.m. at 543 Tanglewood Road.
Four people and four dogs made it out of the house safely.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Responding agencies included Versailles Fire Rescue, the Osgood and New Marion VFDs, Ripley County EMS, Duke Energy, Southeastern Indiana Gas, and the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
