Versailles, In. — An Osgood man has entered a guilty plea in a Level 1 Felony child molesting case without a trial. Ripley County prosecutor Ric Hertel says due to the age of the defendant and victim, William Jones, 73, will serve a sentence of 20 years with the Indiana Department of Correction.
Prior to the sentence, Jones was being transported weekly for dialysis treatments.
As Hertel expresses sympathy to the victims, he commends detectives from the Indiana State Police for their swift action in the case.
