Louis “Louie” Miller, 74 of Milroy, Indiana passed away on February 25, 2024. He was born on March 23, 1949 in Rushville, Indiana the oldest son of Richard L and Marjorie L. (Souder) Miller. He grew up on a farm on the Decatur/Rush county line. Louie was a 1967 graduate of Clarksburg High School. In 1969, he was drafted into the United States Army, he trained at Ft. Knox, Ft. Polk and Ft. Hood and then served during the Vietnam War, as a fuel tanker driver. He married Marybeth Jones on December 30, 1972. Louie worked for 33 years at Bohn Aluminum and later at STI and KB Foods. He played basketball for many years, and bowled on the bowling leagues in both Greensburg and Rushville. He bowled three perfect games. Louie was an avid fisherman, especially for crappie at Brookville Lake. He also enjoyed cooking and sharing his catch. He was a fan of the Reds, Colts and IU Basketball.
Survivors include: Wife, Marybeth Miller; Daughters, Stephanie (Travis) Dimett and Kathe (Cecil) Mullins; Grandchildren, Mason and Jake Dimett, Jenna Taylor, Meghan (James) Switzer, Kylie, Keon, Josh and Brady Mullins; Brothers, Jim (Susan), John (Laura), Carl (Sue), Frank, Joe (Angel), Marvin (Jeniece), Steve, David (Nan), Robert (Elissa); Sisters, Ann Miller and Mary (Steve) Kohlman; Sister-in-law, Lori (Mark) Rainford; many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother, Kenny.
