Liana Rose Collins, 60, of Versailles passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville. Liana was born on Saturday, March 19, 1960 in Peoria, Illinois, daughter of Cheri (Baker) and the late Ralph Buffington. Liana married William “Bill” Collins and he survives. She was a homemaker and loved raising children, whether they were her own or everybody else’s. She enjoyed going antiquing and collecting antique vases.
Liana is survived by her husband Bill of Versailles; sons Rocky (Tifani) Collins of Germantown, Illinois and Thomas (Angie) Collins of Ocala, Florida; daughters Christina Jackson of Rising Sun, Melissa Collins of Versailles, and Billie (Shaun) Burke of Ocala, Florida; mother Cheri Buffington of Peoria, Illinois; brothers Ralph (Kim) Buffington of Crevecoeur, Illinois and Bon Buffington of Peoria, Illinois; sister Peggy (Gene) Lear of Peoria, Illinois; nineteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Ralph, and two infant brothers.
A celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be given in honor of Liana to the donor’s choice.
