Public health emergency order extended additional 30 days

Statewide — On Wednesday, Governor Eric Holcomb expanded the public health emergency order for an additional 30 days.

The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,019 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 658,043 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,093,689 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 14 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,039 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 5,412 cases and 66 deaths reported (up 10 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,696 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 3 new cases), Franklin County has 1,584 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 1 new case), and Ripley County has 3,252 positive cases and 61 deaths (up 1 new case). This is an increase of 15 new positive cases.
