The JCD Jr. High Lady Eagles ended their regular season at home last night. The 7th grade ended the season 8-8 with a win last night against St. Louis 26-21. Scoring for the Eagles were Weber 8, Jones 6, Richter & Strunk 4, and Harmeyer & Neal 2.
The 8th grade ended the season 12-4 with a win 39-10 against the Cardinals. They got the tip, but could not capitalize on the bucket. They were able to force a steal and never looked back. The end of the first they had a 13-2 lead. Trying some new ball movement, they saw the lead increase to 19-6. Strong defense and working the ball they too control in the third extending their lead to 32-7. They worked the ball and came away victorious 39-10. The Eagles were lead in scoring by Williams with 26, Newhart 5, and Rider, K.Simon, C. Simon, & Fullmer each with 2.
They will begin tourney action next week playing at Sunman-Dearborn.
