(Westport, IN) – The Kiwanis Club of Westport and the South Decatur High School Key Club joined forces on Saturday for a community highway cleanup project along State Road 3.

Together, the two service organizations worked to make a visible difference in the community while promoting civic pride and environmental responsibility.

Members of both clubs spent the morning collecting litter and debris along State Road 3 in the Westport area.

The Kiwanis Club of Westport sponsors the South Decatur High School Key Club, with a goal of helping students develop leadership skills through service.

Both groups regularly participate in projects that benefit local families, schools, and community spaces.

“This partnership is a wonderful example of how our youth and adults can work hand in hand to make a lasting impact,” said Dan Wenning, Immediate Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Westport. “We’re proud of our Key Club students for their dedication and community spirit.”

The Kiwanis Club of Westport thanks all of the volunteers who participated and the South Decatur High School administration for supporting student involvement in community service.
